OUR PASTOR & FIRST LADY
Elder Stanley Daye was born to Mr. Martin & Mrs. Lou Daye and was raised in Roxboro, NC. He was educated in the Person County School System. He is presently employed with the Person County Government. In 1992 Elder Daye committed his life to God and worked faithfully at his home church “Faith Temple UHC” in Roxboro, NC where his Pastor is Elder Clyde Winstead. In 1995 he received his call from God and entered the ministry. He received biblical and pastoral education at Northern Piedmont Bible Institute. Pastor Daye is very involved in Youth and Prison Ministry. His ministry focuses on encouraging and developing others to position themselves for God’s Best. Beside every good man there is a good woman. In June of 1997 God saw fit to bless him in marriage to Elder Gloria Daye of Louisburg, NC our First Lady. They currently reside in Timberlake, NC. To this marriage they were blessed with three children and two grandchildren. In February 2008 Pastor Daye was assigned Interim Pastor of Mebane’s Chapel UHC and in September of 2008 he was assigned as pastor where he has served faithfully. His main goal since coming to Mebane’s Chapel United Holy Church has been to see his members move forward and to find their gifts and/or callings and go forth in the Lord. Elder Stanley Daye is an anointed vessel of God, a real preaching machine. He preaches the Word in season and out of season. No matter if you want to hear it or not. He preaches tirelessly taking no thought concerning himself but rather striving to do the will of his Father.
Our Mission...To be a loving, ministry minded, evangelistic church that seeks to lift up the name of Jesus while glorifying God through worship, ministry, outreach, fellowship and unity.
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12-13)
